THURSDAY EVENING MUSICALES
Once again, St. John's will present a series of "Thursday Evening Musicales" in the Choir Room on July 10, 17, 24 and 31. Each musicale begins at 7:30 p.m. and features a variety of fantastic music performed by some of Albuquerque's best musicians. All of the performers are donating their services so that all of the proceeds can be given to Albuquerque Healthcare for the Homeless. A limited number of tickets are available for each performance at $15 each ($5 for students). Buy tickets in the Welcome Center on Sunday mornings or in the church office during business hours.
WOMEN'S EVENT: August 22, 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and August 23, 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
The next Women's Event Extreme Makeover - The Personal ADDition, will be held August 22-23, 2008! Felicia Hopkins, associate pastor at St. Mark's in El Paso, TX, will be our featured speaker. She motivates her audiences to take action for God. Her inner strength and energetic persona have an undeniably infectious effect on those whom she serves.
In addition to Felicia's keynote addresses there will be several sessions offered addressing a variety of topics. The event also includes snacks, lunch on Saturday, and free childcare. Cost is $35. Call Donna at 883-1373 for more information.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT LIVE RETURNS SEPTEMBER 10
Dinner in the Family Life Center from 5:00-6:00 p.m. Classes begin September 17 and run from 6:00-7:00 p.m
On September 10, the youth will tell about their experiences of sharing their gifts and talents with other on their 2008 Music & Mission Trip to San Antonio, Texas. A list of classes can be found in the August 2008 newsletter on the News page of the website. Watch for more information coming soon!
