Do I need to be a member to participate in church activities? All are welcome to participate in church activities at St. John’s. Some activities, such as Upward sports programs, are attended by many people who do not worship at our church.

What does membership mean at St. John’s?
Membership at St. John’s is not about benefits and privileges. Joining St. John’s is about making the commitment to discipleship. Developing followers into disciples who put faith and love into action is the essence of who we are and what we are about. At St. John’s we are “Transforming Lives Through Christ”.

How do I become a member of St. John’s?
Every 4-6 weeks, Pastors Stanfield and Seelau offer the class “Taking the Next Step” for those who wish to join St. John’s. You will learn more about the congregation, its vision, its mission and our covenant of Discipleship. Call the church office at 883-9717 to sign up or for more information.

Can I use your church for my wedding?
Our facilities are available for weddings of members and non-members. For more information please contact our wedding coordinator, Lynn Clapper, at (505) 271-0746. She will confirm availability, handle the application process, arrange tours, and answer your questions about St. John's policies.
